Prior to Spring Break, Dickinson County CEO students visited Crop Service Center Abilene, Kansas, gaining valuable insights into a full-service agricultural retail operation. During the visit, Dale Koop, Reed Koop, and several team members introduced students to their comprehensive services, including custom blending, custom application of fertilizers and chemicals, seed supply, soil testing, and advanced variable rate application technologies.

Dale emphasized the importance of building lasting relationships, ensuring customers feel comfortable and confident with Crop Service Center's services. He also discussed the diversity of career opportunities available within the organization—from truck drivers and operations managers to clerical roles and agronomy experts.

Students also explored how technological advancements, like John Deere's See & Spray equipment, continue to transform the agricultural industry,
