With their class business wrapped up, Dickinson County CEO students launched into the second semester by visiting Land Pride, a division of Great Plains Manufacturing in Abilene.
Students received an in-depth tour of the facility, seeing how raw metal is transformed into parts and assembled into finished products. They explored each step of the process and saw how advanced technology and automated systems enhance efficiency, safety, and quality.
The experience didn’t stop there! After the tour, students learned about the vast range of careers available at Great Plains Manufacturing, gaining valuable insights into the opportunities within a large, innovative organization.
