On Thursday, Dickinson County CEO students had the opportunity to visit Sunbelt Solomon, a leader in transformer remanufacturing, recycling, and sustainability with a global footprint. Sunbelt Solomon employs more than 1,600 people, including over 300 in Solomon, KS.

Students were welcomed by Brenda Meyer, the Culture, Training & Development Manager, who shared insights into the company's operations and locations. Kevin Krueger, Director of Operations, led the students on a tour of the Solomon facility, where they explored manufacturing spaces for pad-mount, pole-mount, and substation transformers. Students also learned about the central role that recycling and environmental sustainability play throughout the organization.
