On Good 2 Great Fridays, our CEO students dive into reflection, professional development, or team building. Today, we focused on understanding each other's DISC profiles and how individual preferences can be leveraged for success in real-world situations.
One key takeaway is that not everyone prefers or needs the same approach to thrive. By recognizing our differences, we can better align tasks and responsibilities with each person’s natural strengths, leading to more effective teamwork and success.
After exploring their DISC categories, students participated in a "This or That" activity to see how their preferences aligned with their DISC profile styles. They also discussed a chapter from Things You Wish You Knew Yesterday, discovering how different perspectives are essential for achieving success. Today’s favorite quote was:
“You need different kinds of people to make effective decisions and be successful. Recognizing the value in others is something successful people do every day. Seek out others who are different from you, and invite them into your world.”
